I grew up in a conservative German family where outward affection wasn't frowned upon; it just wasn't there for modelling.
We don't all have to be as forthcoming as your sis-in-law, but, as you're doing, we can be more aware of opportunities to show the affection we feel.
Good for you for your continuing growth!Jeffrey Williushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02748080134354732541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6508287140975351636.post-54271836267208508932012-10-08T13:35:38.598-04:002012-10-08T13:35:38.598-04:00If we all focused on what is not in our nature, al...If we all focused on what is not in our nature, all of us would be base jumping off KL tower ( http://youtu.be/8LrEDfw8Lp4 ).
I struggle with smiling(part disability and my life's slice of the pie), but not a miserable person, and out going enough to bring enthusiasm to the table. Many people don't see me as having this problem when asked to describe me. But I am working on it and have a great example to base it on with my partner. Yesterday, I went on a walk just to see how people I could light up by showing my love for the world.
Just make sure your desire is not based on jealousy and I am sure there are things your sister-in-law admires in you that you are unaware of.Was Oncehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15787588883235992471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6508287140975351636.post-25424906592774036802012-10-08T11:14:03.190-04:002012-10-08T11:14:03.190-04:00Ah my dear friend you probably rank more on the em...Ah my dear friend you probably rank more on the emotional sexual side than the physical sexual side. Most of us are a hybrid but one tends to dominate more than the other. This is not a good or bad thing but is a part of who you are and is very revealing as to how you see the world and relationships.

Do not try to unlearn this about yourself for it is part of your fiber. Perhaps it is best to become aware of this. Hugging and kissing and cuddling is great but so is the quiet emotional who loves their own way.

I am fairly good at many things but Skiing has always been a real challenge. I surf, skateboard, waterski etc but snow skiing is not my bag and I struggle like crazy doing it. It upsets me even more watching novice athletes crush me on the slopes...

Basketball is another one. Don't even get me started. Great at Baseball and Soccer but Basketball...Oh lawd!

I have to say that you are admired for other reasons so your Sister-in-law is a physical that is all...

Cheers,
BobbyFijufichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00626543577510367007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6508287140975351636.post-77042425211443218202012-10-07T20:09:59.505-04:002012-10-07T20:09:59.505-04:00This comment has been removed by the author. Was Oncehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15787588883235992471noreply@blogger.com
